BRIAN M. HEIT
ATTORNEY AT LAW
Founder and managing attorney of Heit Law Group, Brian Heit, began the firm to ensure his clients’ matters were resolved with their interest in mind. Owning his own firm gives him the freedom to do everything possible to help his clients succeed without the red tape of a large firm structure. Brian is the core of the firm’s employment law practice, in which he manages all matters in litigation headed for trial.
Brian’s diverse background working in-house at public and private enterprises, clerking for the Securities and Exchange Commission, and working as a litigation associate allows him to address a wide range of client matters. This foundation enables him to support employees effectively and pursue claims forcefully.
Brian began his practice as a Financial Service Broker at Aon, an international insurance brokerage, where he brokered multi-million dollar management liability lines on behalf of publically traded companies.
Brian’ clients included biotech, technology, and health care companies, as well as many of the Fortune 500 companies located in the Bay Area.
Prior to practicing law, Brian co-founded an art and clothing collective, worked as a corrections officer, and served on the board of directors for a Bay Area non-profit, working with Bay Area youth.
Brian graduated with honors from San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. Brian obtained his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida, where he was a staff writer for the National Security and Armed Conflict Law Review. Brian actively participated in the Health Rights and Investor Rights Clinic, returning as a Supervising Fellow for both clinics. He was also awarded the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in his Evidence Course, which is presented to only the top one or two students in the course.
