Donna Bryant

With over 30 years in the legal field, Donna’s Paralegal experience includes working for a prominent Houston litigation firm where her focus was on the representation of local governmental entities and public officials.  She assisted in defending numerous cities, fire departments, and police departments in civil rights claims involving excessive force, false arrests and illegal searches. She also helped defend governmental entities in premise defect claims and serious automobile accident cases.  In addition to her Paralegal duties, Donna served as Office Manager for the Houston office.

Donna was later approached by the General Counsel/Corporate Secretary/Senior Vice President of a leading publicly-traded energy company to assist in their legal department.  During the many years spent at this company, her experiences ranged from monitoring the company’s outside legal counsel to assisting with Board of Directors/Annual Shareholders meetings providing support of a highly confidential nature.  Her most rewarding time was spent traveling with the General Counsel to assist in speaking engagements to standing room only crowds.  This adventure was rewarded by the State Bar of Texas Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section for dedication and commitment for the transformation of the quarterly periodical.  Donna is the only recipient to ever receive this prestigious award who is not a licensed attorney.

Later, Donna decided to make the career move to a much smaller firm bringing more of a “personal touch” to clients.  While still serving as Office Manager, she has helped many clients through personal injury matters, bankruptcy, criminal matters, and even foreclosures on their homes.

Immediately after joining Heit Law Group, Donna knew the fit was perfect.  She has the ability to understand staff needs, while not losing sight of the big picture of assisting the firm with their constant attention to client satisfaction.   Heit Law Group is progressive in its use of technology and the role that it plays in enhancing the end result for the client.  The client is always the firm’s best asset.
